About This Opportunity

Canada Day Celebration


Event Date: Wednesday July 1st, 2026

Location: Riverside Park (By the baseball diamond) 
Event Time: 3:00pm-10:30pm
Fireworks: 10:00pm 

Energetic and enthusiastic volunteers are what makes Canada Day the celebration that it has become. This is our second annual Canada Day and Fireworks celebration at Riverside Park and we are excited for you to take part in making a fun, safe and welcoming environment for everyone! 

We welcome ages 16+ to volunteer with us. Individuals who are reliable, flexible, have a positive attitude and like to have fun while volunteering!

Volunteers will receive a t-shirt for taking part in the event. Please make sure to dress for any weather conditions and check the weather before you leave. It could be sunny, cloudy or a little rainy!
