About This Opportunity
The Yonge North York BIA is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support our annual Canada Day Celebration and Fireworks event on July 1, 2026.
Volunteers will play an important role in helping create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for attendees. Responsibilities may include event setup and teardown, activity support, wayfinding, greeting guests, assisting with family-friendly activities, distributing information, monitoring event spaces, and providing general event support as needed.
This is a great opportunity to gain event experience, develop leadership and customer service skills, meet new people, and contribute to a major community celebration in North York.
Volunteer positions are available throughout the day and evening. Training and orientation will be provided before the event. Volunteers must be reliable, professional, comfortable working outdoors, and able to stand and walk for extended periods.
