Canada Cup of Robotics FLL is a global FIRST LEGO League event in Niagara, where top student teams design, build, and program LEGO robots. Four days of high-energy challenges, teamwork, creativity, and STEM celebration.
The Canada Cup of Robotics is an international youth robotics event taking place in the Niagara region as part of the global FIRST robotics program. Students from around the world design, build, and program robots to compete in exciting, fast-paced challenges that promote teamwork, innovation, problem-solving, and STEM learning.
This event brings together top-performing FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams (ages 9–16) who have qualified through their regional, provincial, state, and national championships. The FLL division will feature 100 teams, all bringing their robots, creativity, culture, and team spirit for four unforgettable days of competition and celebration.
Beyond the competition, the event also includes a fun festival atmosphere with activities for volunteers and teams alike, including a carnival, free ice cream, meals provided during volunteer shifts, and a group trip to Niagara Falls. It’s a great opportunity to meet people from around the world while being part of an exciting international event.
To help make this world-class event possible, we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team! No robotics experience is required—there are many different volunteer roles available, and training will be provided. Whether you enjoy working with people, helping events run smoothly, or supporting youth and innovation, there’s a place for you.
Volunteers help keep the event running smoothly and ensure teams have an amazing experience. Roles include supporting team check-in and registration, assisting in the pits, helping with judging support, managing event flow, guiding teams and families, hospitality, and general event operations.
Volunteers play a huge role in creating an incredible experience for students and teams from around the globe, and we would love to have you involved.
