Bingo Volunteer

The Canadian Liver Foundation, a non-profit, depends on bingo proceeds to carry out its mission of promoting liver health and preventing liver disease. We need volunteers to show up at each scheduled bingo session (1-2 per month) in order to collect these proceeds. As a bingo volunteer, you will be acting on behalf of the Canadian Liver Foundation and expected to show up for the scheduled bingo sessions.

Being dependable and prompt are requirements for this volunteer work. This entails being on time, showing up for the full meeting, and doing your obligations in a respectful and professional manner. The dependability of our volunteers is essential to the success of our fundraising initiatives. 

Location: Various bingo halls across Ontario (will be determined based on location of volunteer)

Time Commitment: 1-2 sessions per month, approximately 3-5 hours per session. You will have the opportunity to choose which sessions work best for you. Additionally, each volunteer is required to attend mandatory training (approximately 2 hours) conducted by the bingo hall and review the relevant materials before your first volunteering session.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act professionally and politely as a representative of the Canadian Liver Foundation.

• Upon arrival, meet and greet guests and offer customer service.

• Assist the bingo hall employees by cooperating with them and working as a team.

• Maintain order and cleanliness in the bingo hall.

Qualifications:

• Be at least 19 years old.

• Be passionate about promoting liver wellness and preventing liver disease.

• Be able to collaborate well with others and communicate clearly.

• Act in a respectful and professional manner.
