What to Expect:
As a volunteer firefighter, you'll work alongside our dedicated team of career firefighters to respond to fire-related emergencies in Iqaluit. Your role will be challenging yet incredibly rewarding, as you help protect lives and property in our community.
Training Process:
Training to become a volunteer firefighter is a three-stage process that includes both classroom theory and hands-on training. You'll dedicate 12 hours a month for six months to complete your training and prepare for the responsibilities of the role.
