About This Opportunity

Join our team as a Back‑to‑School Drive Volunteer and help ensure children and youth in our community start the school year with confidence and the supplies they need. As a volunteer, you will support donation collection, organize supplies, engage with families, and contribute to a welcoming and empowering environment for participants.


What you will do:

  1. Assist with sorting, organizing, and assembling school‑supply kits for students
  2. Support donation intake by greeting donors, receiving items, and tracking inventory
  3. Help set up and maintain distribution stations during the event
  4. Engage with families and youth, providing guidance and answering questions
  5. Support promotional efforts by sharing event updates and encouraging community participation
  6. Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth event flow and a positive experience for all attendees

Who We’re Looking For:

- Age between 12–30

- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

- Comfortable speaking in front of small groups

- Patient, respectful, and supportive when working with seniors

- Ability to guide discussions and encourage participation

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Attention to detail in preparing slides and handouts

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

- Ability to adapt communication style to different learning needs

- Commitment to completing basic training

- Fluency in English
