Adult Day Program Volunteer
Position Summary
The Adult Day Program Volunteer plays an important role in
creating a welcoming, engaging, and supportive environment for individuals
living with dementia.

Volunteers receive orientation and ongoing support from
Alzheimer Society staff, including education on dementia, communication
techniques, safety procedures, and program expectations.

This volunteer position is supportive in nature and does not
involve providing personal care, administering medications, or lifting or
transferring participants. Participants must be early to mid-stage in their
diagnosis. Volunteers work under the guidance and supervision of Alzheimer
Society staff at all times.
