About This Opportunity

Ask An Undergrad is seeking current undergraduate students to volunteer as mentors for our summer Ask An Undergrad Café series in the GTA, primarily in the Scarborough area.

Volunteers will attend in-person 2-hour sessions hosted at community organizations between June and September 2026. At each session, mentors will run individual small-group tables using prompt cards to guide conversations and answer youth questions about topics such as university life, the transition from high school to university, choosing programs, commuting, time management, and finding support on campus.

There will be 5 sessions throughout the summer (one per month), and volunteers are expected to attend a minimum of 2 out of 5 sessions. This role is ideal for undergraduate students who are approachable, reliable, and passionate about mentorship and supporting youth through the post-secondary transition.
