About This Opportunity

Carousel Players is looking for volunteers in the Niagara Region who are passionate about arts and theatre to help out with of our four day long Niagara Children's Festival, occurring May 14-17! This is an excellent opportunity for any students seeking community service hours, or anyone seeking an engaging and memorable volunteer experience within the Niagara arts scene.

Volunteer roles vary depending on preference and availability, and we have both indoor and outdoor opportunities available. We are looking for volunteers to assist with front of house (ushering and box office), serving food during the opening night reception, facilitating the craft station, stagehand assistance (e.g. load-ins, take-downs, labour assistance), interactive roles with costumes and performance, bike parade marshalling, wayfinding, greeting, and bike decorating!

We must also note that volunteers over the age of 18 are required to have a police issued vulnerable sector check (VSC), which we do reimburse upon successful completion.
