Sharing Your Volunteer Opportunities with Volunteer Success

By: Volunteer Success

Sharing your volunteer opportunities on social media is an important way to raise awareness and attract the right people to your organization. Here is a simple guide on how to share your volunteer opportunities with your audience on our website.

How to share your volunteer opportunity:

As the screenshot above shows, when you click on your published volunteer opportunity, there is a button on the upper right corner of the listing in both the detailed view and the card view that allows you to share your opportunity on social media sites. We offer direct links to LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Reddit. You can also share by email, or copy the link to share on other channels. Don't forget to tag us on your share using @volunteersuccess or use the hashtag #volunteersuccess.

Benefits of sharing your volunteer opportunities:

1. Increased awareness of your organization: Sharing your volunteer opportunity helps increase the visibility of your organization and improve your digital presence, which can lead to more support, donations, and volunteers.

2. Helps you attract the volunteers you want: Sharing a volunteer opportunity can help you attract the right people to your organization. By clearly communicating your mission, values, and opportunities, you can attract volunteers who are passionate about what you do and are committed to making a difference.

3. Increased engagement: Social media platforms are designed to facilitate communication and interactions. When you share your volunteer opportunities on social media, you are able to reach a large audience of people who are already interested in your cause or organization, which will lead to increased engagement and visibility for your organization.

Whether you are a small, local organization or a large, national non-profit, sharing your volunteer opportunities can help you better achieve your goals and build a community of volunteers that help you make positive impacts in your community. One thing you should keep in mind is that the key to getting the right volunteers is to be proactive and consistent in your efforts when sharing your volunteer opportunities, and to make it as easy as possible for people to get involved.
