Volunteer Success Announces the Launch of Community Pages

By: Volunteer Success

Volunteer Success is proud to announce the launch of our Community Pages, which are designed to display community-specific organizations and opportunities. Communities are based on location or region.

For organizations, local networks or municipalities, community pages offer a centralized listing of volunteer opportunities on our site which can be easily shared with a unique URL, making it much easier to connect with local volunteers looking to get involved. Community pages are ideal for those communities that lack a volunteer centre.

Check out our current list of communities and contact us at info@volunteersuccess.com if you would like to learn more and are interested in seeing your community listed.

Volunteer Success is a registered Canadian charity that connects organizations to people and people to causes and all features on our site are free to use. We are a proud member of Volunteer Canada.

The operative word being: “jobs.” That’s an important term to note for any business or charity that engages a volunteer because there are legal requirements and protections that deal specifically with volunteer rights.

What are some of the benefits of volunteering for College and University Students? For university and college students planning their future careers and preparing to step into the workforce, it is easy to feel nervous, overwhelmed, and unprepared. As a student myself, these are feelings I know all too well. We sometimes feel we lack the necessary skills, expertise, and connections to get the jobs and opportunities we want. We may even feel intimidated by the interview process, believing we are some kind of imposter waiting to be caught out. Volunteering is one great way to deal with this!
