Pet Therapy Volunteer
Summary
The Salvation Army Meighen Health Centre's mission is to deliver a suite of wellness and health services primarily to seniors in Long Term Care, Retirement Residence and in the Community. We demonstrate Christian values and provide excellent person-centered care.
We are a 168 bed Long Term Care facility. We are owned and operated by The Salvation Army but funded by The Ministry of Health.

As a Pet Therapy Volunteer you will visit with the residents in the Long Term Care facility and/or the Retirement Home for 45 minutes once a week. Pets must have up to date vaccinations and a letter from a veterinarian that the dog is of good temperament.
